Allmed was founded in September 2002 , initially offering full load freight services from Italy to UK and Ireland.
We very quickly grew our service portfolio to include road freight groupage to and from Italy. Following success in Italy, where Allmed have become the Market Leader, Spain and Portugal were added and quickly developed, with multi departures each week. We have recently added France to the portfolio, with regular departures each week. Following customer demand we also offer freight forwarding services throughout, Western, Central and Eastern Europe.
In 2004, having identified a lack of direct services from Italy to Ireland for chilled and frozen groupage, Allmed Food Logistics was established. We now offer multi weekly direct departures from Italy to Ireland for both Chilled (between + 2 and + 4 Degrees) and Frozen (-18 Degrees) groupage, part and full loads. Due to customer demand over the past number of years, services for both chilled and frozen groupage were also established from France, Spain, Holland, Belgium and Germany, with regular departures each week from all of these countries.
We also do our part for the “Green” economy by operating regular weekly Intermodal departures from Italy to Ireland, utilising rail services from Milan to Rotterdam / Zeebrugge and from there to Dublin.
The aim of Allmed is to provide a quality, reliable, efficient and personalised services to all our customers. We continuously strive to become better by in house and external training. Our customers are both large and small, each with their own particular needs, we listen carefully to understand these needs and together we build a template which best caters for each customer’s individual requirements.
